Gerrit Rietveld
(Utrecht June 24 1888 – Utrecht June 26 1964), was a Dutch designer, architect and cabinet maker.
Inside 1911, Rietveld started his have piece of furniture manufacturing plant, when researching architecture. Rietveld designed a 'Red & Blue Chair' within 1918, influenced by the 'De Stijl' movement, of which he became a member around 1919, the equivalent month where he became an designer. Around 1924 he designed the Schröder house for Truus Schröder-Schräder, with whom he cooperated. A home is located in Utrecht. A home, piece guided by geometrical forms, is crooked.
Rietveld broke sustaining a 'De Stijl' movement around 1928 and switched to the Nieuwe Zakelijkheid. A equivalent month he joined a Congres Internationaux d'Architecture Moderne.
He designed a 'Zig-Zag' chair in 1934 and started a project of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
